“If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone
astray, will he not leave the ninety nine and go search for
the one that is lost?” (inset in name tag)
All of his sheep are in the fold except one lamb that has
wondered away from the flock and is lost. It is a windy and
stormy night; “I have ninety nine, what is one little lamb?”
To the Good Shepherd it is everything and He won’t rest until
it is back in the fold. He would even lay down his life for
his sheep. John 10:11
Don’t overlook the attitude of the lamb. Even though it is
windy and stormy the lamb is at peace, even asleep; it knows
it is in good hands, because a sheep knows its shepherd. John
10:4
