Christ friends had many great days full of marvelous miracles.
They believed he was the promised messiah. And he had told
them what was to happen and they should not be fearful but
still it was a sad day. When he was on the cross they had seen
darkness, the earth was shaken and no doubt his friends’
emotions were spent. But there still remained a job to be
done; they must bury him.
You cannot escape the emotions captured in this sculpture. But
by the title you know hope is on the way for the resurrection
happened on that third day just as Jesus had promised and
these friends got to experience the joy after sadness.
